Job Title: Butcher Supervisor

Location: Mt Hagen, Western Highlands Province

Reporting to the company’s Butchery Manager with a dotted line to the Store Manager, the role of a Butcher Supervisor involves leading a team of qualified butchers and serving staff to deliver the highest standards of quality, hygiene, display and presentation in our Supermarkets.

The preferred candidate would be a qualified butcher with strong leadership and training skills, motivated to succeed and advance in a career with clear opportunities for growth and development.
Ideal requirements would be:
• Minimum Grade 10/12 education.
• Good communication skills.
• High standards of personal presentation.
• Strong skills in fresh meat displays
• Formal Butchery training, qualification certificates with particular emphasis on food safety, hygiene and quality.
• 3 to 5 years butchery experience in a senior role in a large retail business or similar.
