JOB ADVERTISEMENT:  HR BUSINESS PARTNER – MANUFACTURING DIVISION

JOB OVERVIEW

The HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with the Manufacturing Division Leadership Team to deliver strategic and operational HR support. The role focuses on workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, compliance, and building a high-performing workplace culture that supports the division’s business objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Partner with Manufacturing Leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
 Provide HR advice on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
 Support recruitment,onboarding, succession planning, and employee retention.
 Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
 Support the performance management process and employee development.
 Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
 Prepare HR reports, analyse workforce data, and recommend improvements.
 Promote a positive, high-performance culture across the Manufacturing Division

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 Minimum of 3-5 + years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
 Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
 Proven experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, or similar role.
 Experience managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
 Sound knowledge of PNG employment legislation and HR best practices.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Ability to build effective working relationships.
 Strong organisational and time management skills.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
 Fluent in English and Tok Pisin.
 Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
 Project management, coaching, and facilitation skills are desirable
